"I tried mantı, gözleme and a mixed fried dish at Gülten Abla’nın Yeri Restaurant, and everything tasted amazing. The mantı was clearly homemade and had that rich, authentic flavor you only get from hand-prepared food. The gözleme came out hot, crispy and full of fresh ingredients, and the fried food was served straight from the pan. Prices were very reasonable, and the whole place had a warm, welcoming vibe. Definitely one of the best spots for authentic Turkish food I’ve been to."

"We came here as a part of the trip to Şirince (which is a very atmospheric little town by the way). We were served with gözleme (kind of traditional Turkish pancakes, some with meat and others vegan as well), dolma (rice rolled within vine leaves), manti (similar to ravioli or small pierogi with meat) and obviously ayran (sour, milky drink). Everything was very good and meals were big enough to get me satisfied (and I like to eat a lot). Worth noticing that you can get vegetarian or vegan options. Not everyone likes the fact that it’s allowed to smoke by the table but you need to get used to it while it’s allowed and popular in Turkey. We’ve been sitting at the terrace which is great because it’s an open space but also in the shade. Highly recommended if you’re looking for traditional Turkish cuisine. Actually it was recommended to us by our friend who is Turk from Kuşadasi (nearby) so he knows a bit about what’s genuine and high quality. It’s a family business which adds the vibe After finishing the meal we were offered to buy handcrafted toys so I also bought some for my kids. Wirth noticing that nobody’s pushy about that, which is very nice"

The setting is charming without trying too hard — a quiet corner surrounded by greenery, traditional stone walls, and the gentle buzz of the village. It immediately gives you that “you’re in the right place” feeling. What really made the experience special was the people. The staff were genuinely kind, not in a rehearsed touristy way, but in that real, heartfelt Turkish hospitality that makes you feel like a guest rather than a customer. They took the time to explain the dishes, offered suggestions, and were happy to adjust little things for us without blinking an eye. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every single dish tasted fresh and homemade — like someone’s grandmother had spent the day preparing it. The meze spread was a standout: vibrant, full of flavor, and clearly made with love. The main dishes (we had lamb and fresh fish) were perfectly cooked — juicy, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned without being overdone. The bread came warm and crisp, and I swear the olive oil alone could’ve been a course on its own. We finished with traditional dessert and Turkish coffee, sitting back and soaking in the atmosphere. The bill at the end felt almost too low for the quality and the experience we had. It’s rare these days to find a place where everything — from food and service to vibe and authenticity — lines up perfectly, but this is one of them. If you’re in Şirince, skip the touristy spots and head straight here. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after the trip ends."

"Really nice local place! I had a lunch here - ordered some traditional Turkish specialties including pancake with meat, sarma, chicken kebab and ayran. Everything was really tasty and evidently home made. Service was fast and all the servers were very welcoming, we also met the cook - very sweet lady. Big plus is the location- at the top of a hill with a beatifull view of the surrounding hills. Highly recommended!"

Freshly baked and full of flavor. Mantı (Turkish dumplings) – small handmade dumplings served with yogurt and spiced butter. Rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. Dolma (stuffed vine leaves & stuffed zucchini flowers) – filled with rice and herbs, balanced and refreshing, especially with lemon and tomatoes on the side. Fresh vegetables and herbs on every plate, making the meal both hearty and vibrant. We also loved the little details – like the traditional ayran served cold and the small sugar cubes on the table, which add to the homely feel. This is true Turkish hospitality and flavor at its best. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area who wants more than just a meal – this is an authentic cultural and culinary experience.
